Litestructures was founded in Wakefield, England, in 1991 and quickly grew to become a world leader in the design and manufacture of aluminium trussing, staging and structural systems. Building on this, and driven by client demand, the business was constantly evolving, solving even more creative design challenges.
It now has decades of experience in the design and manufacture of creative structures across a wide spectrum of sectors and applications ranging from art installations, brand activation, motorsport and live events through to retail and architectural environments.
Since then, and driven by trademark innovation, the Litestructures brand has evolved, and developed a specialism in the design and manufacture of complex aluminium fabrications, and that remains its focus today.
In 2014, the original founders of Litestructures, family-owned Dark Arches Holdings, bought back the special projects business from Prolyte Group. Dark Arches Holdings identified synergistic opportunities in the three project businesses of Brilliant Stages, Litestructures Projects and Perry Scenic Creative alongside its studio and equipment services business, LS-Live, and the Backstage Academy training model in Wakefield, which all operate independently within the group, whilst creating a strong solution for all project requirements.
The Litestructures team prides itself on acute attention to detail, expertise, knowledge and understanding, to provide close, amiable relationships with its client base. This, along with hard work and a determination to succeed, give an incisive delivery partner for even the most challenging projects.
